Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at the Arbour Inn left me with mixed feelings about its value proposition. While the establishment boasts modern facilities and attentive staff, some aspects gave me pause regarding the luxury versus cost equation. However, the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room was a drawback for someone who thrives on caffeine-fueled creativity. Though the shared kitchen provided a communal space for cooking, the lack of a dining table in the room hindered my work-meal balance. the free toiletries were a thoughtful touch, but the absence of a minibar or electric kettle felt like a missed opportunity for added convenience. the free Wi-Fi was reliable for work, and the flat-screen TV provided some leisure time entertainment. In conclusion, the Arbour Inn offers a decent balance of amenities for its price point, but enhancements in the in-room facilities could elevate the luxury experience, making it a more compelling value for digital nomads seeking a harmonious blend of productivity and comfort during their stay in vibrant Shillong.
